Why do I need to include my payment details when it is free?Updated a month ago

We understand that this is a slight inconvenience, but you only need to do this once. We have made it as quick and painless as possible, such as enabling Apple Pay, so that you can do this on the go. 

The reason we require a payment method is that we need to charge you a replacement fee in the case that you don’t return your cup or container back to us. This saves time and effort of charging an additional deposit at the counter - which many other systems do. It also allows you to return your cup or container at any location - and not just at the venue where you borrowed it, for extra convenience!
